Harmonious Home Design: Merging Dark Wood Furniture with Earth Tone Spaces
This contemporary style home design project is located at Grand Central in Kwun Tong, a newly completed large estate. The handover configuration includes the commonly found light wood floors, baseboards, and white painted walls in Hong Kong. The reason we mention the handover configuration is that the client indicated during our initial contact that all movable furniture would be brought over from the old residence, such as dining tables and chairs, TV cabinets, and sofas, all made of dark wood.
Our home design expert believed that having these dark wood pieces in a space primarily featuring light wood and white tones would appear jarring and not visually appealing. Therefore, after careful planning, the white elements are only used on the tall cabinet next to the entrance, the entire ceiling, and the balcony wall, forming a U-shaped reflective surface to brighten the space.

Warm and Calming Home Design: Earth Tones and Contemporary Elegance Materials
The rest of the design primarily uses earth tones, charcoal gray stone, walnut wood patterns, and a few black elements. Different shades of earth tones serve as a buffer between the dark furniture and light wood floors, creating an overall warm and calm feeling. This thoughtful designs not only maintains a visual harmony but also ensures a cozy and inviting atmosphere.
溫暖和寧靜的家居設計：大地色調與現代優雅材料的融合
其餘的家居設計主要使用大地色調、炭灰石材、胡桃木紋理和少量黑色元素。不同深淺的大地色調作為深色家具與淺色木地板之間的緩衝，營造出整體溫暖而平靜的感覺。這個周到的家居設計不僅保持了視覺上的和諧，還確保了舒適宜人的氛圍。
