HK Interior Design with a Cinematic Art: Home Aesthetics Full of Personality
This interior design project is for a unit intended for two people in Ap Lei Chau, HK, with a completely re-planned interior layout. The clients specifically requested to avoid the typical “Minimalist Style” or “Beige Color Scheme.” Instead, they are very fond of the works of Spanish director Pedro Almodóvar and wanted to incorporate elements from one of his films into the design project. Ultimately, they chose “The Human Voice,” infusing the vibrant and intense color palette from the film into this nearly 40-year-old flat, giving it a completely new look and creating a home filled with the artistic feel of a cinematic masterpiece.
Additionally, besides referencing elements from the movie scenes, our designers carefully incorporated the unique aesthetic styles of “De Stijl”. These styles use red, white, and blue colors and geometric shapes as the main forms of expression, creating a simple yet expressive visual effect that aligns perfectly with our design concept. Through continuous experimentation and adjustment, we ultimately achieved a satisfying result.
藝術電影感的香港室內設計：打造個性化的家居美學日
這個室內設計項目為二人居住的單位，經過全新規劃的室內間隔。客人特別要求避免一般的「簡約風格」或「奶油色系」的設計效果。相反，他們非常喜愛一位西班牙導演Pedro Almodóvar的電影作品，並希望將其中一部電影的元素融入室內設計。最終，選擇了《The Human Voice》，將這部電影中濃烈而鮮豔的色調注入這個近40年的舊式單位，賦予其全新的面貌，設計出充滿藝術電影感的家。
此外。除了參照電影中的場景元素，我們的設計師還融入了「De Stij」的獨特風格美學。這風格以紅、白、藍三種色彩和幾何形狀為主要表現手法，展現出簡約而富有表現力的視覺效果，與我們這次的設計概念有點相近。在不斷的試驗與調整中，最終獲得了令人滿意的效果。
Integrate natural mountain views into interior design, enjoy the beauty of nature
The wooden frame beside the sofa resembles a large picture frame, perfectly framing the mountain view outside as if it were a piece of art. This interior design element enhances the room’s aesthetics. In the open kitchen, a refrigerator from the BOSCH Vario Style series features a serene lake green panel, symbolizing the film’s dynamic protagonist. The kitchen interiors are further elevated by the MATTONELLE MARGHERITA series from Mutina, with walls and floor tiles blending bold colors with a vintage aesthetic.
讓自然山景融入室內設計，享受大自然的美景
沙發旁的木框宛如一個大型畫框，將窗外的山景呈現得如同一幅畫作。開放式廚房內的雪櫃來自Bosch Vario Style系列，採用湖水綠色面板，象徵電影中鮮明的主角。廚房的牆身及地面瓷磚則選用了來自Mutina的Matonelle Margherita系列，濃烈的色彩與復古風格相得益彰。
Considering that the bedroom is meant for relaxation, the walls are painted in a soft grey-blue color to neutralize the visual impact of the entire house. In our hk interior design, it’s not just about the interiors; the rooftop design is also a significant aspect. All walls and metal railings are painted white, while the floor features colorful tiles. Coupled with the blue sky, white clouds, and sea view of Aberdeen in Hong Kong, it feels as if you’re in a white-walled village in Frigiliana, Spain.
臥室配色設計上考慮到其為休息空間，牆壁選擇柔和的灰藍色以中和全屋視覺衝擊。在我們香港的室內設計中，不僅限於室內空間，天台設計也是重要的一環。所有牆面及金屬圍欄均用上白色，地面則使用充滿色彩的地磚，配上香港仔的藍天白雲與海景，讓人彷彿置身於西班牙白色山城般寫意。
